The regional policy (LPR) of the Confederation is an instrument for development at the service of the regions, and a system of financial aid for innovative projects that aims to improve the competitiveness of the regions.
Creapole SA is the principal project of the Programme for implementing the regional policy in the Canton of Jura. It is integrated in the cantonal strategy to diversify the economic fabric through the contribution of innovation and high technologies.
Creapole SA is considered by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) as an exemplary project. Furthermore, Creapole was successfully audited by the OECD in 2011 in the context of its Territorial Examination of Switzerland 2011.
As an exemplary project, Creapole SA regularly participates in the seminars and work of RegioSuisse, the national platform of the regional policy established by the Confederation.
